Walla Walla, Washington (Accommodation)

We spent five days in May of 2012 visiting Walla Walla, Washington for our two year anniversary.

While researching places to stay, I had initially thought we would stay at the well-known Marcus Whitman Hotel, which is the highest rated hotel in Walla Walla on Trip Advisor.

However, after having had such a good experience having rented an apartment while in Rome the prior September, I decided to instead look on VRBO to try and find a house or condo to rent. I was surprised with the high number of places there were available to choose from to rent and ultimately we decided to go with a beautiful town home, listing 197814. In addition to advertising on VRBO, the owner of the condo also has her own website in which she has several other listings of condos to rent. This condo in particular is called Walla Walla Suite at Bryant Creek.

The condo was absolutely beautiful and in immaculate condition. The entire unit had been designed with a modern Asian flair and was spotlessly clean as everything appeared to be brand new! The king bed we slept in was amazingly comfortable with incredibly soft satin sheets. Had we wanted to, we could have easily cooked meals in the well-stocked kitchen but if you have read my blog entry on dining in Walla Walla, you will see that we didn't get an opportunity to cook! The location of the condo was convenient to downtown; we could have easily walked as it was just a few blocks away but since parking was so plentiful in town we always drove in.

This condo would be perfect for two couples as there are two full size bedrooms and would make the nightly rate of $185 quite affordable if split in half.

We would not hesitate to stay in this wonderful condo again. It made our already amazing experience in Walla Walla even better than we could have imagined.
